Can you describe briefly what Lesemeister do?
Lesemeister – reading for the future! Lesemeister is a reading app that gives pupils in primary school access to hundreds of e-books. They are able to share with reading friends, collect reading points, read with and without sound, record and listen to your own reading voice, automatic reading log for the teacher. Perfect for all pupils in primary school.

How does your product work? or What type of services do you offer?
Lesemeister is available in a normal browser and as an iPad app, and pupils and teachers log in with their school-id (Feide). Once logged in, the pupil has access to a library with hundreds of e-books for online reading. Lesemeister contains several motivating elements to engage the pupil, and the teacher have a separate dashboard to administer and get insight about the pupils reading progress.
What do you want to change?
We want to add even more books to Lesemeister, and we will continue to develop Lesemeister into a need-to-have tool that helps pupils and teachers to reach all reading goals in the national curriculum.
Why did you choose edtech?
We are passionate about helping children become better readers since better readers have a higher probability to succeed in the modern society. There is no better place to do this than within the edtech space.
What do you see are the biggest challenges in this market?
Municipalities and schools convert from physical to digital educational resources with different pace, and there are more than 400 municipalities and more than 2 000 primary schools in Norway. A big challenge is to find the right time to enter the market with a product that is perfect for the majority of the schools.
What are your next big steps or ambitions?
Become the preferred alternative for schools in the Nordics for digital reading services.
